I read this in HS and I remembered that I liked it. If you like pugs and female protags and drama then this is the book for you, or your daughter (actually, make your sons read female protag novels too).

Ahh, the childhood nostalgia. This series was my Harry Potter, only difference is that HP is appropriate for all ages and I would consider this mainly a children's book. It's so lovely though.

I love these books. I'm not exactly sure what's so gripping about them, they're just so good and never get old. :)

Good book for an elementary-school child. My son read it in third grade and like it. I just finished reading it to my 8-year-old daughter and she enjoyed it too. It started to flag a little in the first 80 pages or so, then it picked up again. Molly's hypnotic power, and her ability to make adults do whatever she wants, is really appealing to kids.

Molly Moon's Incredible Book of Hypnotism was one of my favourite books I read towards the end of primary school.

At the time the premise seemed familiar in an Annie kind of way, but the story was still like nothing I'd read before. It was a load of fun, and I've only just realised now that there was more to this series that I missed out on!

This is an amazing children/young teens' book, very funny and it's never boring, so it manages to keep your attention the whole way through.

when i was younger-- maybe 9 or 10 (on that note, please note the date is an estimate)-- i picked up this book for the first time. it was like, instantly, i was hooked. molly was hilarious, and even now, at 18, the book and its sequels have stuck with me. it may be a bit childish now that im older, but i still love it.

Read for round one of the Filmathon - Vertigo: A book with a spiral on the cover
