this was really good and really fun (if i can really call it fun) i loved the mystery of it all and it was a very solid debut filled with magic, mystery, and murder

No me encanto la historia pero el final me hizo llorar bastanteee. Me vi venir el “plotwist” y hubo algunas paginas que me aburrieron. Sinceramente no me quede satisfecha con el final. Pero es adictivo.

Ok first of all let me get this straight: I don't read horror books I used to read mystery but that's not my cup of tea anymore. And let me tell you, I saw many book recommendation videos that included this book, and I thought I wasn't gonna read it cause it was mystery and horror. But I saw this one video that said this book was a stand alone read. and so i read it, its honestly soo good I couldn't put it down. And I want MORE that cliffhanger is making me question my life decisions.

So basically this girl named Penny lives on an island called Sparrow, and Bo a newcomer who just moved newly, doesn't know the legend of the 3 sisters and she has to save him from not being there next meal. Yep that's all I'm going to say, I'm not spoiling.

Penny is a great character, yes I know she has often called herself 'not like other girls' but in this book I accepted it because the other town kids including the girls do dangerous things she doesn't cause she actually has some brains and I mean like girl or boy who would willingly risk there life like that?

And Bo honestly is a king he saved her and he said something in the lines of 'those who annoy girls deserve getting their ass kicked'. Wow. He's patient and he's mysterious but not a grumpy cliche.
