Insightful, thoughtful and occasionally, mildly ridiculous- see the essay on the 90 Day Fiancé. But nevertheless, another great collection from Maeve Higgins. Highly recommend the audiobook - if you're like me and find a number of Irish accents rather relaxing, this is great for pre-bedtime listening.

This book felt like conversations I have with my friends, which felt cozy. I also loved listening to Maeve's Irish lilt. With that said, I don't feel like I found any notable insights that weren't already familiar to me. I feel like I was looking for a more personal story and ended up with a more academic one.
