I have a strange fascination with prep/private schools for some reason. They seem so...alien to me. This book was less about the school, however, and more about the author's relationship with one particular mother in the school. It was well written and reasonably engaging- I really felt for the author's desire to make the school live up to what it says it is- but at the same time, I didn't really enjoy it.
