Who doesn't love an Alpha Male Underground Fighter whose body is hotter than the fireworks shooting off on the Fourth of July. I love Remy and Brooke as a couple. They are so adorable. I have reread this book several times and will read it again. Remy is a man who has fought through a rough childhood because of a health issue that he has but he doesn't let it bring him down. He meets Brooke and know she is the love of his life.
Very rarely does a book or its characters resonate with me so much that I want to go back and re read the series as soon a so finish it. But this one did. It did because even though it's the typical alpha male books that I love the main character had to deal with something so Real.. So because I can't shake this story or the characters quite yet I am going to re-read these books.
Every damn time I finish a book with Remy in it I get really sad. Remy and Brooke are one of my all-time favorite couples. I've invested so much in their story that I feel like they are my friends and I just want to read about them forever.
That being said, this was my least favorite of the 3 books. I think maybe because their story is so ingrained in my mind (and heart) it felt kind of repetitive. My favorite parts of the book where during Remy's POV of the present, IE the wedding. It was so great to finally see him get everything he ever wanted and like the Grinch at Christmas it made my heart grow 3 sizes.
I can't ever say enough about Remy and how real he is to me. Everything about him hits me to the core, much like one of his punches would. The possessiveness, the heartbreak, the fear, the power, the loneliness, the sadness, but mostly his strength to persevere and get what he wants...Brooke and their family.
It won't be easy moving on from Remy but I look forward to the next books in the series and to see where Katy takes the characters.

If you read the first two books in the series then you don't need to read this book. It's just it's just the first two books combined with some new stuff about their wedding. If you haven't read the first two books I would suggest just reading this book because you'll get all the background that you need and then something new. But overall I would say the first book in the series REAL was excellent and my favorite but if she continues to just copy and past sections from her old books for a new book I don't know if I can continue with the series. Well that's a lie...because I really love the world she created so at the very least I won't buy it and just cross my fingers my local library has a copy if this trend continues.
I am a real Remy and Brooke fan to watch their story evolve to where it is and realize it is not over yet makes me so happy. This is one of those stories that you never want to see end. Another home run for Katy.
WOW..... What a way to end this story!!! I loved it!!!
I believe that this is the final book in this series, but I am not 100% positive that this is the case. I enjoyed this one quite a bit more than the 2nd one and I will tell you why. This book is told completely from Remy's perspective and I love him! This book starts out a couple months after Mine leaves off but only bits, tiny bits of the book are in the present. This reminds me a lot of This Girl by Colleen Hoover in that it's the 3rd book, it's told from the mans perspective and it's his re-telling of the first 2 books interspersed with small scenes from the present. For Will and Layken it was him telling her his story in moments of their honeymoon. In this book is's Remy remembering all the main scenes of the prior 2 books while on his way to his church wedding to Brooke.
There really isn't a whole lot to review here since there isn't a whole lot of new stuff happening so I will just give you my thoughts overall. I love Remy, I can't say it enough. I loved that we get all the good stuff from book one from his perspective. We do get the high points of book 2, but there seemed to be less of book 2 represented here in this one, which was fine by me because book 1 was definitely better.
I don't normally think that it's necessary to re-write a book from the other MC's POV, but I liked this one because there is so much about Remy that was still a mystery. I would almost say that I could have read this one and skipped the other 2, but I can't really. I think that the addition of this book made for a more well rounded character. Remy is so blatantly male and you see that so much more in this book. He's very primal and almost animal like so Brooke comparing him to a lion made so much more sense after reading this book. Remy is HOT, there is no denying that...not that I ever tried!
I quite enjoyed this book and if you loved the first one then you will love this one just as much if not more. I will say that his excessive and I do mean excessive use of the "f" word is a little off-putting to the point that I wanted to start counting them just to see how many times he said it!
This is a New Adult book, so there are some very descriptive love scenes as well as quite a bit of profanity. Definitely for the 18 and over crowd!

Such a good read and really enjoyable to hear Remy's POV. It's not a repeat of Real and Mine, there's plenty of new material but getting in Remy's mind was both fascinating and sad. Looking forward to reading the next two related books.
All I can say is OMG! I love Remy. This book made me fall harder for him. He is perfect with his imperfections. I am so glad that Katy Evans gave me the opportunity to get inside Remington Tate's head and then go farther into their story....Needless to say if you haven't got it yet I LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!
