I was having a decent time with the book. I didn’t like the direction it took but I was still liking the writing and the other elements of the story. Then that direction it took got heated and It gave me the ick. I DNFed 58% in. First DNF in years, but I tried I really did. It just is a no for me.

wow. such a messy, captivating love story. i found myself rooting for feyi the whole time, and i’m glad she found the reciprocal love she deserves. gives me hope
