Someone is poisoning women who work in New York's online pornography business and they are dying online in front of thousands of viewers. No one has been able to lift a finger to help them in time. I bought this book immediately up on reading the Delilah Complex by the same author. The book follows the same plotline and Rose's other book. Rose is masterful at weaving a story that points the guilty finger to a character convincingly until the last 5 pages reveal the real killer. I was more surprised when this happened in the first book. The story held my interest but my real interest is in Detective Noah Jordaine. I swear if Dr. Morgan snow dumps the good detective I will have to stop reading. Her neurotic intimacy issues and obsessive nature with her daughter cannot possible hold my interest without New Orleans native, Jordaine.

I downloaded this one as I was reading 'Delila Complex' as I really enjoyed that book & this one didn't let me down. I had many people in mind for the killer & I didn't guess it until near the end. The story held my interest throughtout & I'll definetly be keeping my eye out for more books by this author.

*siiiiigh* I've enjoyed these books greatly and this one had probably my favorite murder-thriller case of the three so far - but I cannot get over Morgan's inaction in almost every portion of her life. For a woman who's supposed to be this perceptive therapist, she's quite unperceptive and gets a bit tedious as a narrator. Noah is the main reason I keep reading these books, mainly because I'm interested in seeing how many books longer their touch-and-go dynamic will continue.. As always, the narrators' performances on the audibook were excellent and what I compare other books to!
