I listened the audiobook narrated by Mary Kate Wiles and gosh! I loved it so much! MK created the best version of Lydia Bennet that I've ever seen <3
The book takes place a few months after the end of LBD so there's new characters, road trips and lots of adorbs.

like the secret diary of lizzie bennet, very fun and i love LBD lydia and what they did with her character. im so happy she gets to live her best life. and the fact that im her age is crazy bc the first time i watched LBD i was 14 ish thinking that they were so old and . they really werent

I'm really proud of Lydia.

(And surprise wlw characters is always lovely).

I enjoyed reading Lydia's story and see her growing as a person after the Wickham drama.
I miss the Lizzie Bennet Diaries and going back to this world and see what has become of the characters was really nice.
I don't know if people who are not aware of the web series will enjoy the book as I did, as a big fan of the LBD.
I regret that the story involves men as much as It did, and that the end of the book is a bit about a man. I guess that it is not so surprising because this is Lydia... But I wish that her decisions and future did not involve a man, in the book. Maybe it is just me, but I like to see women independant and taking their own destiny without a man around.
I like the part when she gets involved in social work and when she meets someone from her past again at the end and move on.

I loveeeee the lizzie bennet diaries and all the other side stories, but this book was, for lack of a better word, whelming. I'm glad to see this extra glimpse to their lives but I'm pretty sure this could have gone better.

Hmm. It's weird. I don't know how to explain but all I can give right now is that it probably has something to do with how even though Lydia supposedly went through all this growth, which reflected in her actions and some of her thought patterns, I didn't really feel it. Like, I'm glad with where she is now but I wasn't really able to connect that much. Hmm, the characters were already developed and the plot was ok, so I think it's the writing.

I wish I liked this better than I did but it just didn't hit the mark. However, I still appreciated this sequel a lot and enjoyed reading this so I would still recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the web series.

I liked it well enough, but it didn't add much to my experience as a P&P/LBD fan.

I love Lydia from "The Lizzie Bennett Diaries" on YouTube. And this book was pretty great too.
