This was a good book. I loved the plot! I loved Ben and Fallon's relationship. They had the best banter and the heat set the pages on fire! I loved the way Ben made Fallon feel good about her scars and helped boast her confidence.  The twist was heartbreaking. Ben and Fallon meet on November 9th during an emotional altercation. Fallon immediately falls for Ben, but she's moving to New York that night.  They make a pack to meet every November 9th to help each other reach their goals. The only catch no contact of any kind for the rest of the year.

Just be careful with Hoover's books - the description often hides many triggers (because they're essential to the plot)! So just make sure you're in a good space or check the warnings ahead of time!

Probs the most captivating Hoover book I've read so far. But the main issues in the plot still stem from rudimentary misunderstandings
