<spoilers>
In simple words, I loved this book; despite its flaws.
This is most likely my favourite of the 3 total Colleen Hoover books I have read so far. There is always a mysterious question the reader has about each character when we change perspectives. The repetitiveness of some terms is fantastic not only for making the meanings beautiful but they connect in such an engaging and fantastic way.
The foreshadowing technique is used and it is only when you are reading the ending 100 pages that things piece together and have so much more to them.
Throughout the beginning of the book,  found me in a state of connection to the characters through major anger and annoyance, however, I later just realise, they felt like real humans to me, I loved them both so much and it hurt me when they messed up or fell apart.
While Fallon is, in the beginning, insecure and intelligent, she progresses and makes ignorant and stubborn actions that confuse the plotline in a good way, it gives both characters to grieve and think in a timely manner that is not only realistic, but adds so much emotion.
I thoroughly enjoyed the ending where both of our characters understand their differences and forgive themselves for the pain they put each other through.
While my words will never be able to describe the emotions I felt when reading about Kyle (after the death and tying ends), reading about characters from Ugly Love, the mother's suicide, the son's immediate anger to grief to health in grieve, to Fallon's growth as a character to not necessarily listen, but to read and listen to her mother as she always had during the book (23 yrs old), the ending motifs finally making sense and causing the largest amount of downpour on my emotions (fire, tattoos, their ability to remember previous promises and sayings, the poet, the DATE - mothers death, the fire, the meeting, the adventure). I simply loved it all, however, it would be unfair to give it full stars, as I found myself SOMETIMES, bored. I know, I know, the adorable romance was so insanely captivating, and not smutty at all, and I would be a liar if I didn't find both of our views ADORABLE!!! But, a book needs to have no mistakes or holdbacks to get a 5 star. I loved this book and I will forever remember it. I think I will write my narrative on this book, it changed me, my views on what parents go through and our thoughts (from both points of view, suicide letter, characters, etc). Thank you, Colleen, for feeding me all of my guilty pleasure and depressing needs <3 xo
