OMG I loved this book. I tore through it in two days, it was a relatively short read, but STILL. I needed to know what was going to happen.

Fallon is a sweet but broken girl who bares the scars from her past. While Ben is a sweet boy who has scars on his heart from his past. The twist at the end of the book was amazing, I had NO CLUE it was coming and it made a very unique read. Not your typical meet-cute/love at first site. Colleen Hoover, you never fail to surprise me :)

The more I think about this book the more annoyed I am. I don’t this COHO is for me as I can’t get over the consistent plot holes and purely asinine timelines of life events she creates. I totally understand the point of creating a perfect romance but at least allow the BASICS to make sense. Good. Lord.

My poor feelers, they are absolutely destroyed.

Kudos, Hoover.

Maybe even 2.5… I don’t know why I didn’t connect more emotionally to this book (perhaps because I finished The Golden Fool yesterday or perhaps because it felt a bit predictable to me). I liked this book but nothing more. Actually I think it would have done better as a movie than a book (I’m a bit shocked with myself for thinking this).

I’m a bit disappointed because I finally read my first Colleen Hoover book and it just wasn’t it for me.

Though I do think that Ben can proudly label himself as a top quality book boyfriend! He definitely had a way with words.

Very cute and seemingly so romantic but classic Colleen Hoover with a different twist
