I loved it. I will listen to it again and I highly recommend it. If you're someone who enjoys audio books, I suggest that route.

Here's a link to a more complete review but it says pretty much the same thing.

A really beautiful story of love and empathy towards the marginalized and oppressed. The son's development to eventually love his dad for the person he was in his life is really sweet and a great example of how love must trump societal labels (especially amidst the contemporary "culture war")
