To be honest, I didn't stop reading this because of the story itself. It was fun. I enjoyed the first book. My library doesn't have the audiobook for this one, so I used Spotify. But for whatever reason, Spotify kept shuffling the chapters. I would finish chapter 15, then it would skip to chapter 32. I had the sleep timer on and didn't realize it had skipped. I went to listen and hand no clue what was happening, so I finished all of chapter 32 before realizing. By that point, the ending was pretty much spoiled for me. So when I went back and tried to listen where I left off, I just couldn't really enjoy it because of the spoilers I already knew about. So my DNF didn't have much to do with the book. I just haven't been having fun with it anymore. If I had to rate it based on what I did read, I would probably go with a 3.25. I enjoyed it, but I probably wouldn't have moved on to the next book if there was one. It was really cheesy and cliche. But that's not always a bad thing. Overall, I had fun with what I did read.
