This was one of my first ventures into comic books and I can't wait to explore more!

Absolutely delightful. I will be looking for all things Kamala Khan from now on. Very Int0-the-Spiderversy.

Well drawn and engaging with decent concepts of Muslim-American identity. Also falls into too many tropes and seems to interact with concepts of Muslim-American identity in what seems a lack of consciousness of non-Muslim readers.

Great story, great art, and the first Muslim-American superhero ever (that I know of). Highly recommend this.

So much fun and a relatable heroine. Not all of the plot makes sense, but I just rolled with it.

This was great. Totally out of my normal genre, and I wouldn't have ordinarily picked it up, but they talked about it on Pop Culture Happy Hour, and I was intrigued. It lived up to their hype. I especially enjoyed the insight into being a young Muslim woman of immigrant parents in America. The subject was treated with a kind and holistic view, that I thought made it more approachable, in a not preachy way. I look forward to more!

This still stands as one of my favorite Marvel comics ever. I love Kamala so much. And it’s so fun to see how’s far she’s come from here. Love it.

I really enjoyed this! I related so much to Kamala because Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel has been my favorite superhero for years now and seeing this teen fangirling over her reminded me so much of myself?

Also!!! The representation was great? Kamala is great??? Yes?????

My favorite of the first three volumes, for the same reasons it's my 8yo's least favorite: lots of character building, great dialog, and world setup. Not so much with the costumes and fight scenes.
We both love the sight gags and Adrian Alphona's art.
