This was a solid debut novel and a great start to this series! Loved all the world building and the plot was very interesting.
I really liked the two main characters, Ander and Breeja. They had great banter and a sweet friends to lovers romance. I would have loved a little more build up, but they definitely had chemistry and were truly best friends.
I had a little bit of a hard time with one of the side characters. Her sexual comments and humor were not for me and unfortunately it pulled me out of the story enough to not fully enjoy this one.

WHAT TO EXPECT.
I’m completely biased on this book so I feel it this review would be better used in saying what you can expect in this YA fantasy book and hopefully convince you to give this one a try!
