I recently read Weather, and this one went down easier maybe because I had just felt the momentum of the plot and format of that one, and this was poured from the same mould. It caught me at just the right time even though I thought I might not be ready for it. I adored the poignancy of flitting moments of wisdom and clarity amid the rest.
The two were very similar in form, character, plot even, momentum. But I did love them both so who am I to criticize. Thanks for getting me through this bit of quarantine, Jenny Offill.

Short, beautifully written (kind-of poetic prose), an interesting, challenged woman character who deals with her own struggles as well as the struggles of her marriage.

Absolutely amazed by offill’s ability to indirectly convey so much; wrench my heart out and connect deeply, this was fantastic
