What a ride! Right from the very beginning, I had the impression that I was going to love this story. And I was so right! It is such an awesome mix of gritty, real, sad, uplifting and funny. Sometimes, books that span several years can feel like they're dragging along but not this one. There were a few turns that I did not expect but they were absolutely natural and believable. Loved it!
Jackson and Oliver totally work even though people think they wouldn't. I loved seeing them together. And I loved Ollie's daughter and his friend Tris. They're awesome people and I'm glad they have each other.
