I loved the premise of the book and the insight to strong indigenous women, who really shouldn't have had to be that strong. To see how generational trauma can be passed down and how society has put them in a box. While I enjoyed the book I found it difficult at first to follow as each chapter is a different character and told in 3rd person. I still would recommend this book. Canadian author 🇨🇦
