This is a re-read.
I've read all the Elmore Leonard books and it is still
a treat to RE-read them. This one, "Stick", is one
of his early Florida adventures but still a standout.

Better than I expected it to be. I actually liked Stick and empathised with him in most of the sticky situations he got himself into. May look up other Leonard books featuring Stick.
Not one of his stronger efforts. He seems to bog down on details a little bit too, which is odd for his writing style. In fact, this book was hard going at times, and I'm afraid "hard going" and "Elmore Leonard" don't really go together.
