You know how anime has those quintessential beach episodes or sometimes baseball episodes?

Giant Days has me convinced that we need to do that with trips to Ikea, because it seems like it would be way more fun.

yet again it started out great but ended dull. I still love these characters and have hope for the next one but it seems like they start out loving to write it then by the end the writers don't care as much.

This wasn't my favorite volume of Giant Days, but thats definitely because this is four issues that are transitioning the girls (and resident boys next door) from one year to the next. I don't know if the next volume will start them at school sophomore year or their summer adventures? Or maybe summer classes? (I have no idea how university in Britain works.)

Anyway, this was good and funny as always, but was four single issue stories rather than one overarching story, which I will always prefer.

I stand by my original feelings about this one. Doesn't really do much for me, but it's a large transition in the girls' lives.
