Miesten syvimmät salaisuudet on suuri romaani. Sen sivuilla sanotaan, ettei hyvästä kirjasta puhumista saisi typistää aiheista puhumiseen, mutta on vaikea olla puhumatta kirjallisuudesta, kolonialismista, suvusta ja rakkaudesta.
