I don’t think this author is for me. I found the guy insufferable and the girl barely written. There is a lot of trauma and it feels like it is done just to make the book more dramatic.

Look, this is my first Colleen Hoover book. I love the dynamic between Tate and Miles. Fine with Tate as a character even though she is a lot more shallow and superficial compared to Miles. I'm honestly thinking I must have missed a whole lot of her backstory now that I'm done with the book. I absolutely hate this 6-years ago bullshit flashback that we get from Miles up until the very end. I get it the book might be, however you wish to look at it, critiquing or glorifying teenage pregnancy, but it's done in such a weird ~ugly~ way. All this step-sibling shit was just not what I wanted to get from the book. The smut factor is fine if you like reading for the spice, theres more than enough and it contributes to the plot. Love the book for the spice, except for the step-sibling stuff, like come on.

I honestly loved the book but and would’ve given it 5 starts,but i hate how it had the “stander” female role of low self love and being blinded by lust they let the guy walk all over them. But i loved Miles and reading about their story.

The beginning of the book was a tad slow for me. It felt a bit dragged out. It was my first book with different POVs and one was very more interesting and juicy than the other one. Finished the book in 4 days and the ending was pretty heartwarming :)
