Welcome back to Plantain....

Absolutely love this series.

Skye and Drag have a bit of a struggle coming together. They both want each other, but neither one of them thinks the other person is interested. They have their moment, but other circumstances cause it to fizzle out before they can really burn. They go off in different directions for awhile, and life gets interesting. Skye finds herself stuck in a pretty bad place in life, but manages to visit her old group of friends in Plantain for a special wedding.

When she does she runs into Drag again. Their fire finally burns, but of course poop hits the fan. Will Drag and Skye get to be together? Will they have a happily ever after? Can Skye find happiness again in Plantain?

Read this story and find out :)

Personally I love this group of characters and it was great diving back into the world of Plantain. Skye's story was heartbreaking to read, but reading her love story with Drag was beautiful. Of course they have their ups and downs, but that's what makes a love story interesting. Their intimate moments were hot, steamy, and plentiful! Their relationships with the other characters in the book were fun and gave a good sense of family. There is some OTT stuff that happens, but it worked with this story. This story felt less like an MC story, but there still were those little bits of MC life thrown in. Not as much as book one though. I didn't mind since this was obviously more Skye's story and she wasn't in the MC.

This story is pretty angsty and suspenseful. Some things happen and you know more is going to, so you're just anticipating it. It makes it a fun read, because you don't know how things are going to pan out until the very end. These are characters you root for. Sometimes you're yelling at them, but most of the time you're cheering for them. Such a great read!

Can't wait to see what happens in book three with Katie and Joey.
