Wonderful mystery thriller with a female lead. The end kind of wrapped up too neatly but still a satisfying end.

What an incredibly messy and silly book. It's one of those books where you find yourself thinking "Are you freakin' kidding me?" entirely too much. The story is inconsistent and irritating. My rabbit is a better proofreader than whoever worked on this mess.

What. What the heck. I. Can't. With this book. There is so, so much wrong with it that I don't even know where to begin. The characters are trash, nothing has happened and I read to over 15% (a little more than an hour into the audiobook), and, I repeat nothing has happened. Imagine [b:And Then There Were None|16299|And Then There Were None|Agatha Christie|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1391120695l/16299._SY75_.jpg|3038872], but strip it of everything that made it iconic and good and memorable and you are left with this utter garbage. This thing. Not to mention the subtle racism and everything wrong with the way they portrayed the few moments they spent in Mexico City. It was very racist. Please, I beg of you, do not subject yourself to this trash. That's an hour of my life I shall never get back.

So much fun! Dark, twisty, intricately crafted, and a little wry.

I didn't see the ending coming but I can't say I was invested until the end.

I am pretty disappointed. It had so much potential. I hated the main character. I think you are supposed to, but wow she made me want to stop reading many times. There is no depth in the development of the characters, and listening to it was a mistake.
