This might be my favorite book I’ve read all year and I’ve read some books I really loved. Even better than the first book in this series (which is another of my top reads), this book was fun, the banter punchy, the tension INFURIATINGLY EFFECTIVE, the plot twists many, and the prose—as usual—quite well done. “The gasps I gusped” is an adequate description for this book, and the number of times I audibly cried out or reacted in some way…yeah, lost count. READ THIS SERIES!!!! If I could give it six stars, I would.
