I can’t help but love Hori and Miyamura (and Hori’s family, and Miyamura’s male friendships and ‘little sister’) and all their antics.

This is a story of opposites attracting, but the problem is they are both uninteresting and boring. I have read volumes one and two, and it seems they don't really offer more of a personality beyond "I am a ditzy guy" and "I am a girl who is mad sometimes, but not enough to be a tsundere, but kinda."

In this manga, the two leads have two different lives. Their school life and their home life. At school, Hori is a preppy, popular girl and Miyamura is a loner, otaku-seeming guy. The twist here is that Hori actually doesn't wear make-up at home and is almost like a homemaker, while Miyamura secretly has a lot of piercings and tattoos. At first, I had some excitement that perhaps Miyamura was secretly a punk rock kid, but was quickly letdown. Hori's 'secret' lifestyle isn't even exciting from the get-go, and I find it really hard to believe her best friend wouldn't recognize her without any make-up on.

I would not recommend this unless it's requested.
