Sometimes you get sad and buy a stack of eManga volumes on your eBook. So just a heads up on the amount of manga I'm consuming right now.

I don't know if I'll do individual reviews for each volume in a series as it's pretty easy to spoil things that way. Most probably will do a proper review on the final issue of each series to get a feel for the series as a whole.

I don't tend to go for more romance slanted manga, that being said Horimiya is so cute. It has as very slice of life high-school vibe.

Hori is popular and always put together, she's never seen without make up and and is a diligent student. Miyamura is a gloomy looking otaku, who often hides behind his hair and doesn't speak to anyone. Both of them have a secret persona that neither show to their school friends. When a chance encounter throws them together and reveals their secret, friendship blossoms and bonds them together.

Neither of them really understand the closeness they feel which is a usual trope, however I love the way that both them care deeply about the other and understand why they present themselves the way they do and feel the need to have a school persona and a home persona. Miyamura is also refreshingly blunt for a romance protagonist and often doesn't really understand ramifications of what he's said which acts as a great foil to Hori. I also really love the relationship between Miyamura and Hori's brother.

I'm hoping I won't end up going the way I usually do with romance manga and ditching it half way through when it becomes needlessly drawn out but so far I'm really loving the dynamic of the main characters so will be picking up a few more volumes!
