i read the first book in this series and was more or less unimpressed, but i did enjoy this one more. that being said, there were a lot of grammar/spelling errors and missing punctuation all throughout that really irked me and didn't seem to be an issue in the first installment. i still found the main character to be somewhat annoying, but less so than in the first book. i would say this book was a general improvement from the first, minus all the grammatical errors throughout.

The sequel to Consequences of Sin, I enjoyed this book quite a lot as well. I'm eager for the next in the series.
