3.5, with bonus points for a date with Ant-Man (one day I hope they work that into the MCU just for how unexpected it was)

Okay, the second volume! The case of the missing girl who might or might not be a mutant. I loved everything about it. Even the ending. It felt so REAL, even considering the subject is complete fantasy. I really love this comic, I love how it is able to so perfectly meld the realistic and the fantastic. I highly recommend for anyone who thinks they don't like "super-heroes".

lol, her date with Ant-Man was awesome.

Good story with the girl. Is it just me or did the sheriff look a bit like Luke Wilson?

Still getting used to the characters I know from the tv shows not looking the same on paper.

I enjoyed the second volume more than the first, and was reminded that Bendis's main strength as a writer is mundane dialogue. So this will probably be extremely boring to a lot of readers.

Better story, with same great art as the first collection. I like the dialog and the edgy interplay between people.

I liked this second volume a lot more than the first. Even though I enjoyed the peek into the Marvel universe the first volume provided, this volume focused more on Jessica which I didn't even realize I wanted. I liked getting out of New York and just seeing her work in her element. Bendis has some incredible dialogue, especially during the date in the end, loved that format, and Gaydos really shone here with the collage work. I wasn't sure about continuing the series after the first volume, but now I know I will be.

I really enjoyed this story, twisted and sad.

but I am still kinda amazed that my Ninja reads this, he hates all that emotional touchy-feely stuff. I should probably give him more credit in the fiction department. the nice thing about fiction is it is an escape from reality, and allows the reader to be someone (or thing) else for a while.
