I was expecting a fluffy, fun romance, and what I got was so much more. Surprised me, made me laugh, made me cry -- what a book!
3.5 stars. I'll always love Sarah Dessen, but this one fell a bit flat for me. Ambrose is quite possibly one of the most annoying boys she's ever written. I didn't understand the attraction between him and Louna at all; I couldn't figure out why anyone would want to date Ambrose, which made it hard for me to care if Louna did or not. I enjoyed the wedding storylines, as those are almost always entertaining. I'm going to go reread What Happened To Good-bye and follow that up with This Lullaby or something.
lovely, oh so lovely! not my favorite Dessen book, but definitely a great quick read that will make you smile, laugh and shed a tear every once in a while.
I was in the mood for a cheesy, summer contemporary, which this was, but I feel let down. All the characters felt one dimensional to me and I didn't feel like the plot was going anywhere.
This was just CLASSIC Sarah Dessen. I smiled the whole time I was reading.
I enjoyed this book immensely. I've been disappointed by her books recently, but this one of my favorite Sarah Dessen books now. It was a little predictable, but I loved that about it.

Okay, I think this is certainly one of my favourite books by Sarah Dessen. It's sooo good that it kept me up late at night (which hasn't happened in ages). I really liked the story and how it progressed but I would have liked if, near the end, we got more Ambrose and Louna content as well as some more bits with her and Ethan. It would have been interesting to see how she accepted Ethan being dead and finally dating someone else. Also, I would have loved it if she kept going with the wedding business, but other than that, I loved it.
