Ivy wants Winter to contact her after their last meeting didn't seem to go so well. But when he does come to her it isn't for a personal reason it is for a job. She will do what she can to help especially after she starts getting strange vibes off of Winter about her laziness.
Plus, she will have to work on the set of her favorite show, be around Winter, and try to solve a murder. She can do this, and it will be easy, so she thinks.
This book was utterly amazing! I adored it! I also loved Winter and Ivy together. They make a great team, and I had more respect for Winter by the end of this one! He was freakin' awesome!
I loved Ivy and how she was going to do her best to solve this murder, but also how she was really wanting to get Winter back and she was getting up the nerve to tell him how she really felt. But work kept getting in the way. Add in the fact that she was working on her favorite show, and she was in a happy mood. Until things didn't turn out like she was hoping.
There is a major cliffhanger in the end of this book that totally throws you, and wants you wanting more right away. I know you do probably get good news, but it's still the fact that you don't know everything that really throws you off.
Now, I can't wait for more this is turning into an amazing series.

Purchased this as a cut-price offer on Amazon.fr. It was quite good fun, and I can recommend it for a quick light read
Continuing from [b:Slouch Witch|34670747|Slouch Witch (The Lazy Girl's Guide to Magic, #1)|Helen Harper|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1490304725s/34670747.jpg|55840251], the witty slacker witch Ivy Wilde is approached by the Ipsissimus of the Order and Ivy's former partner Rafe Winters to help with an investigation into a murder on the set of a reality TV show. Enchantment is a Survivor-like reality show with magic and witches as it's gimmick. Ivy, Winter and Brutus (Ivy's brilliant asshole of a cat) are soon in the thick of things.
Solid second book that maintains the light tone and humor of the first book while solving a mystery and cementing the relationship between the leads.
Just a note on the audio narrator Tanya Eby who is doing a brilliant job. This series is set in the UK and Eby does a great turn on nearly every accent that is represented and differentiates voices very well.

This was the weaker of the three. Still fun though!
