this is a ben affleck/lili reinhardt fanfiction. not a huge fan of this story actually, I prefer my men either completely whole or so broken women won’t touch them. the sobriety, etc. was incredibly rushed and I really wish his come to jesus arc had happened a lot earlier so we could have actually seen them heal while they were apart. I get that romance books are supposed to be about the couple but I feel like you gotta show-don’t-tell with something as intense as recovery. the character of grey deserved more visible work done by the person trying to woo her. feeling frustrated.
