Pretty but way too silly for me. I like a certain amount of believability to even the craziest of fantasy children's picture books and this one stretched that just a bit to far. Still great detailed art, though the writing was just ok.

Art looked pretty, but there was something so so weird about hearing something that I always heard on Ukrainian, on English and slightly changed.

Cute, Kid-friendly, Winter, Cold

I liked it, but the 2.5yo was not overly interested.

The characters were cute and beautifully crafted. The atmosphere was extremely well-done and immersive. The writing was excellent and easy to understand. The plot was well-executed, with only a few minor issues.

I loved her illustrations and I loved her innovation in simultaneous and parallel narration without making a big deal out of it.

I can see how this would be fun to read aloud in storytime.

I still remember my 5th grade teacher reading this to us in class. Still have my bookmark too! Such a delightful story.

Silly but sweet, with great illustrations. I love to read it every year around Christmas.
