This is a prequel to a new series by this author. It's a sorta spin-off of her Southern Series, and this (along with the first book Mine to Have) features Harlow (one of the kids from a Southern Series featured couple,) and an all new character. The other books in this new series will be featuring this new characters siblings. This is a novella (short and quick to read) that introduces us to the characters and we get the story of how they met, but this one does no end with a Happily Ever After. If you want that, you'll need to get Mine to Have. Although this is just the intro, it's well written and just as full (of story) as a novel. (No cutting corners to get to the point.) It pretty much has everything a novel would have with the exception of the HEA. There is some sexual content, which may be suitable for mature readers. There are some laughs and some tears. If you've read the Southern Series, you know what kind of emotions to expect. If you are new, no problem... you'll love it! :)

 Novella Review:

This was a nice short quick read here. I really had a blast with this one here and it was so adorable in how our couple for the first book meet as that is a second chance romance. There is a cliffhanger as we see how their relationship ended things. But this one gives some background information on our pair and I really thought it was a cute fast read. And yeah it ends very interestingly. But it is a cliffhanger so make sure you have book one ready to go!

I really enjoyed this prequel novella for the Southern Wedding series! It was cute and quick. Harlow and Travis were so cute and sweet together. The ending was sad and I was shocked with the little time jump. I can't wait to continue with their story in Mine To Hold!

Yano, I was going to wait till June until Mine to Have came out but I just could not resist. Even though we are left with a solid cliffhanger, I am not mad about it...just anxious to see how it plays out.

You have Casey and Olivia's daughter, Harlow, from Southern Comfort off to college who becomes friends with Travis. They are both studying to be veterinarians and both have goals that they have share for the future. Well, friends turn into so much more and for two years have a very sweet relationship and Harlow makes the promise to be there for the happiest day of his life. Her thinking this will be their wedding day which tends not to be the case....

This book was perfect! Short, sweet, steamy and I am hoping lines us up for right where we need to be for Mine to Have! I mean with what I have read so far, I am sure I will fall in love, once again with another one of Natasha's books.
