i’m not sure why my review for this book didn’t save, but here i am writing one again. this book was the first book i picked up in years and i finished it in one night, staying up until 3am to read it in bed. it starts off lighthearted and funny, and despite the main character’s obvious flaws, you start to like her more and more and become invested in her solitary life. it’s a heartwarming book, with a few twists here and there, and a great read. i didn’t want it to end! thank you for kickstarting my love for books again!

This book was fine. Completely fine. Not great, not I loved it, but only just fine.

I was able to predict the twist and saw the ending coming almost from the first chapter.

Eleanor is an interesting, character and you find yourself rooting for but my very favorite character was Raymond. He is who you hope and aspire to be. The person who accepts and reaches out to the person who is hurting, the person who is lonely, the person who just needs another person.

Raymond, for me, was the best part of the book. Everyone needs a Raymond in their life.
