Amazing artwork and such a unique story. And I don’t know who to ship but either way ‘I ship it!’
Gotta give credit where it's due; this webtoon is unabashedly full of romance tropes, clearly self-aware about how overdramatic it is. It leans into that, which is definitely a strategy. I helped that it didn't take itself too seriously. I would say that this is not very good, but I did read it through to the end, so...there's that. I appreciate the effort to deal with the characters' emotional traumas, but the execution was a little clumsy, which made it harder for me to empathize with the characters. I'm still not really sure why the main character wears a cat ears headband for the entire webtoon. Not my favorite, wouldn't really recommend, but it was a strange and entertaining ride, I guess.
I started really loving it, but as the story progressed you can really start telling how much the author hates it, and it felt a little rushed.
I wish we could've had a longer character development for Zilith and Verose, specially Verose I really liked her.
Zelan was cool I guess? I mean he was definitely cute.
I will definitely keep reading Snailord's comics though, can't wait for KMAL.
