sighhhhhhh! it’s not exactly good odds when you only enjoy 2/10 stories in an anthology and properly hate about 4 of them. for a book about girlhood there’s an alarming amount of patriarchal boy shit and thinly veiled sexism that i did not enjoy. this one was an irl recommendation too, so i really wanted it to be good!!! left a sour taste.
