I enjoyed this book, but I wish more than just one chapter was spent on them talking to their dad about being intentionally helpful.

A cute, simple story about the benefits of not acting so tough all the time. What the 6-year-old liked: how they went from mean to nice.

I liked the family emotional elements, but didn't care for the boys intentionally trying to do ill deeds. They were fun twists, though.

Two kid brothers try to get a reputation for being bad rats, but every plan they have backfires on them, until the entire town thinks they're the nicest boys around.

This was cute! The concept is great and so is the lesson. However, it wasn't incredibly special. It would be fun to read with kids though.
