Told in 5 issues/parts, this is basically a retelling of Atriox’s backstory as seen in cutscenes of Halo Wars 2, with more detail. While already knowing the basics of how he came to be, it was still enjoyable and fascinating to get a closer look at Atriox’s personality, how he managed to recruit others to his cause, as well as how he behaved with members of his species, both those with and against him.

The artwork I would say is pretty good, though I liked some styles a lot more than others. Part 3 was definitely my favorite in terms of art, whereas Part 4 was my favorite in terms of story and dialogue.
