Absolutely goddamned wild. Two dollars for a can of monster blood. Two American dollars. When has anything cost so little? 1992 was a wild time. I wish the Aunt had gotten to be a cooler character.

I love the twist at the end of this one!

This one stinks. Nothing happens for 2/3rds of the book and the protagonist is a whiny jerk, whereas his best friend is the smart and funny one. Why couldn't she be the star?

Okay unlike One at Horrorland or Night of the living Dummy or even The Haunted Mask which have premises that open up possibilities to be explored in sequels.
How in the World does MONSTER BLOOD (so far) have four sequels spanning across the Goosebumps saga?
It’s not that I’m mad about it, I’m just wondering Why?
This green literal BLOB substance that grows and eats things? There are some humorous situations in the following books (Looking at you Cuddles the Hamster)

A kid gets dumped at his great-aunt's house so his parents can go house-hunting. He discovers friendship, and a can of green goo known as MONSTER BLOOD.

A reread. Pretty fun, although the final plot twist was a bit of an eye-roller.
