this was decent. I liked the full length book better than this collection of short stories, but I generally prefer full length to short stories. It was good, and fun to read, but not nearly as good as The Hound of the Baskervilles.
Some of these short stories were better than others. I enjoy the thought of Sherlock Holmes more than actually reading his stories. I do enjoy the film adaptations, but MAN! These short stories are long and I felt I had to read each one in one sitting for me to remember all the facts right by the end. Many of these had similar premises that Holmes solves. Usually something weird is going on and Holmes figures out the motive behind the odd actions.
It’s a collection of awesome Holmes stories, including The Blue Carbuncle, which is maybe my favorite. What’s not to love?
