A gothic, classic chinese ghost horror story with intergenerational trauma/repeating history meets Rose Red vibes. I quite liked the concept but there were a bit too many women who sort of blurred together plus found the diversion into Richard's parents history sort of random....

Sad and beautiful horror story. I liked the complexity of the story and the way Chinese culture was woven throughout. Definitely some sexual content… didn’t need that.

If you like the vibe of the haunting of hill house (show, not book) then you’ll love this. The interconnections between grief, family drama, ghosts, being a child of immigrants all plays together so beautifully in this. I loved it!
