Good solid mystery, ending felt rushed though

I'm a big Sarina Bowen fan to begin with, but had no idea that she'd branched out into mysteries/thrillers until I came across this on my library's new books shelf on the day before vacation. It was perfect timing and I finished it in one day, on a deck in York, ME, not far from where it was set. But I have to say, the timing was probably even more perfect as the book had me so enthralled that it probably would have wrecked havoc with the rest of my schedule as I had a really hard time putting it down at all. I'm very much hoping Sarina continues writing in this genre!

Not a thriller, more of a “guess what happened” with suspenseful moments. Ariel gets a text from her ex-boyfriend who disappeared 5 years ago. Come to find out, there was a cell tower glitch that made everyone’s phones flip out and mass texts from years ago was delivered to everyone. When she gets this text, she starts to go down a rabbit hole of why did he disappear. With her now 4-year-old son, she pairs up with her friend from work to figure out what happened.

There are a few subplots but I will say, this book was never brining.
