Nice and hot. A not-exactly-GFY story believable. I liked the characters, particularly Dylan. The development pace was good.

I especially liked the emerging questioning about labels because they can help to build identities but at once, if we cling excessively to them, they can become an iron corset.

I liked Alec and Dylan's story. It was a little slow at first but picked up quickly.

Dylan really has a rough past that holds him back in a lot of ways. Alec is stuck after his boyfriend of 2 years leaves him. These two have a lot of back and forth. I found it a little odd that Dylan was so against labels. I mean, I guess I understand to a point why they shouldn't matter, but yet they do sometimes as well.

There were a lot of funny moments. I loved how Dylan's mouth would just spit something out. Noah was funny as well.

I consider this story a great start of 2014. It was lovely, and the characters were likeable if occasionally stubborn.
I liked them and their story. So far I'm also interested in the side characters. Can't wait for Tyler and Memphis' book, and I'd love to read Noah's, where finally we'll be talking about him.

What bothered me - you're used instead of your. Twice. I know it's common in m/m but while once looks like coincidence or an overlooked mistake, repeated mistakes look like a pattern.

Very enjoyable. In the end the book was more about Dylan than about Alec and his issues with commitment. The fact that he fell for a man wasn't really an issue. I also liked how issues were talked about honestly, between Dylan and Alec, but also between Alec and Tyler.

This was really good. Well written and great story. The conflict is JUST PERFECT. It's a 4 because I hated some of the speech style used. I don't remember if this was mentioned or not, but I assume these are grown men in their 30s or late 20s? And sometimes they sounded like teens. It was a huge pet peeve of mine while reading. but I soldiered on and am glad I did because the other stuff make up for it. Great story.
