I’m not sure if I would’ve picked it up if I had known about the pedophilia beforehand, but I really liked this book. While it is mentioned, the details weren’t explicit so I was able to get through those scenes.

This was an interesting read. Your typical psychological thriller. There were quite a few sensitive topics that were prominent throughout. 

I did really enjoy the twists, though some were rather predictable. The structure was unique, however, and I really enjoyed it. 

All in all, a good read. I enjoyed it. Got through it rather quickly.

This was really well written, but I did not expect this to be nearly as dark as it was.

I don't feel like the blurb gave any indication of all the child abuse and I was not prepared. It was handled well, in my opinion, but I was not expecting it.

I also felt like the whole setup was just a way to write this tragic backstory and the opening mystery didn't actually impact the story that much.
