An extremely engaging, informative, and well-argued book. I was constantly reminded of the depths of my own ignorance. Immerwahr's clear explanations helpfully tie together vast expanses of geography and time into a coherent story about the causes and effects of U.S. imperialism. Highly recommend this book to everyone, because, at the very least, we should all know the borders of the country we live in.

Best thriller I read this year. Almost every chapter ends with a shocking twist.
Not only is it very informative, but it's also very well written, not condescending and funny at times.
