This is my favorite dystopian novel and one of my favorite books I read in school. A re read for a book club shows it still holds up and is eerie how much is still relevant almost 100yrs later. Having also read more after my initial read (some Freud, Marx, Shaw etc ) also was really cool to see how Huxley pulled those themes and work to shape the world, criticize the philosophies, and also provide almost some caution for the future. It's definitely a slower read overall and very scientific focused that for me is interesting but I can see the average person be bored with the whole process.

Definitely an interesting book. The dystopian concept portrayed here is not unique in every aspect, but in the short duration of the book the world building was still felt enough. However- the storylines jumps constantly between characters and I found this very hard to read and understand what’s going on at times
