I loved this second book in the series. You really see the character development of Lara Jean as she navigates her love life. I really enjoyed how she grew as a character, learning how to be the bigger person and who she wanted to truly be with even though it was a hard decision to make. I found her to be very relatable, especially looking back at when I was her age. I would highly recommend this book.

I'm so glad I decided to read this series!
I honestly never really wanted to, because I read the first 2 books in "the summer I turned pretty" series by Jenny Han and did not like those at all but after watching the Netflix movie for this series I decided to pick up the books after all, and I am so glad I did!
It's an adorable, fluffy romance without using all the typical tropes and i can identify so much wich Lara Jean.
What I enjoyed about this second book, is that we actually got to see the relationship and all the struggles that came with it, whereas in most romance books the story ends right after the protagonists get together.

This book was really really boring until the end. I think JAM was supposed to be written as a fun way to spice up the romance between P&LG but he was really just boring and uninspired. He was just another dude bro. I do really enjoy the character growth between LJ and Gen . Overall, not nearly as good as the first book of the series.
