There is a reason this is known as one of Christie's finest works. Utterly gripping and wholly entertaining, I loved it a lot. The mystery was great, pacing was perfect and writing emaculate. It was creepy and dark at times which was really lovely tbh.

I loved the premise of the story and I was hooked from the first page. The stucturing and story telling technique which Christie adapts adds to the overall effect of the book. Why I did not rate 5 stars?? Well because as much as I loved the story, I did guess the culprit from an early stage. Also the end reveal was spectacular no doubt but a tad bit unbelievable for me. Like there were small small details which kept bothering me.

Overall an amazing mystery and a must read for a good time.

My mother was a huge Agatha Christie fan. Growing up her books where everywhere. All her books except this one. It's probably the only book of hers my mother doesn't own. There is something unsettling about people being stuck (with no way to leave) in a place with a killer. Add the nursery rhyme and I was sold. I had to read 'And then there were none'. I wasn't sure if I wanted to read the original version or the ultimate mystery version. Having read both I can say that the ultimate mystery version was the most interesting. I took it as a challenge (highly suggest!) and took notes while reading.

This book makes you think.
All these people are strangers, they seem perfectly normal. I wouldn't have thought that they were killers if they hadn't mentioned it.
It's all about obtaining justice.
And I don't mean this in the ironic way, if you know you know
Right and wrong. It was an interesting read and probably one of Christie's best books. I'd highly recommend this book, and this version, to people who want to give mysteries a shot.
