The mystery deepens, this time Snicket and chaperone have been hired to locate a missing girl. This one gets quite a bit darker than the first (a la the Series of Unfortunate Events). Full of dry humor and puns we meet more characters from Stain'd by the Sea.

Narrator was excellent but I did find I had to keep adjusting the volume, the quiet spoken parts were very quiet!

Short review:
This was another brilliant, fantastic book by Lemony Snicket.

We are now at the second wrong question, so 2 more to go. I really loved the story and we found out more about things happening, though we also got a whole lot of secrets and questions back.

Can't wait for book 3 to come out. :)

This series is just what I needed after watching the Series of Unfortunate Events season 2. I really wanted more Snicket style books and then found out these existed! I'm having a fab time listening to them and the narrator is brilliant.
